We are a custom fabrication company located on Randolph Rd in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.
We specialize in creating functional art from original concepts to reclamation projects that both enhance and support the surroundings in which they are displayed.
Whether you have blue prints or a hair-brained drawing on a bar napkin, we can do it.

NorthernJack was conceived 33 years ago as I started to build experience in fabricating, welding, a lot of grinding and observing as a 16-year-old. I had fun doing it.
Since, I’ve held plenty of Jobs, but my only career has been as a father to my two sons, one who is working in the field of AG/Tech as a Tech II Engineer for John Deere. The other a Recent College Graduate of Grand Canyon University, has returned to Arizona and currently Seeking his fortune in one the Fastest growing community in America.
Working as a journeyman in the field provided the confidence and motivation to begin a beta version of NorthernJack in my home garage.
What started with residential furnishings and décor has expanded to commercial signage and large-scale, commissioned art — like the ring project pictured.
With the generous support of family and friends, NorthernJack has become my second career and I’m having fun…“Don’t you like having fun?”
